Problem: Android 2.3 Gmail stopped displaying any new messages in the Inbox. You could only see the messages in the All Mail label.
Solution:
Go to Settings->Applications->Manage applications
Open Gmail and “Clear data”. Don’t worry! It doesn’t drop your account and also will simply re-sync after a few minutes.
